Our Family

We are The Nkunims, a Houston-based, multicultural family of five. Our story started on opposite sides of the world, somehow finding its way into one home filled with love, loud laughter, and three tiny humans who keep us humble and endlessly inspired. What began as two creatives figuring out marriage, identity, and purpose has grown into a journey far bigger than we ever imagined.

We never set out to build a community on social media. But as visual storytellers, sharing our life felt natural. Simple snapshots that slowly turned into a family archive and, unexpectedly, a global village cheering us on.

Now, we’re passionate about inviting our audience into each chapter—whether that’s navigating entrepreneurship, traveling as a family of five, or exploring the cultures and places that shape us, especially Kojo’s Ghanaian roots. Our hope is that through our lens, families see the beauty in their own stories, feel encouraged to explore more, and learn to embrace the imperfect, magical everyday moments that make life meaningful.
